Here We Go Again!

We, Chris and I, are starting a new phase in life after having just completed the phase known as "Getting to Retirement".  This phase is named "Being Retired, Doing What We Like and Making A Little Money".  We are refurbishing and painting old furniture.  This blog will document the highs and lows of creative work, the highs and lows of 24/7 with one's spouse and the highs and lows of aging while doing all this.  Don't worry - refurbishing and painting will fill 99% of the posts.

We will be referring to and reviewing products as we use them (if we use them).  For the longest time we have painted just about everything using either Benjamin Moore, Dutch Boy or Sherwin Williams paint.  Love them!  Since starting this phase we have been introduced to Annie Sloan Chalk Paints.  These originated in Oxford, England and are now available in the world through "stockists" (distributors to us).  My, my, my ... such a change in the world of paint.  I will explain everything about this paint when I present a chalk paint tutorial.  It is soooooo good.

If all goes according to plan I will now insert before and after pics of some of our work.  These will be just a tease until I write about the actual transformations.

Sorry that the placement is not correct but I will be better the next time.

I hope you like our work and will continue to check in.  See you next time!
